A stained glass artist based in Western Montana, Kate Cluff specializes in originally designed stained glass jewelry and custom stained glass work. Her artwork is primarily fueled by the great outdoors, whether it be curvaceous sandstone, mountain cliff-sides, or high alpine wildflowers. The name Divide Designs was inspired by the west and all the beauty surrounding the continental divide. 
"Dividing" is the first action in any glass creation.  Each cut requires planning and precision. Whether constructed in the abstract or based off the world around us, piecing and seaming together colored glass tells a unique story. Different times of day, different seasons, and different forms of weather are all components in reflecting new hues and light through a piece of stained glass. This is why stained glass is such a dynamic art form, and worthwhile staple installation for any home, office, rearview mirror, earlobe, or reflective setting.
